Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols (Virgin V 2086)
Notes. 12 track pressing. The cover is the same as the Scandinavian/Swedish release with the printers logo on the back at the bottom."SIB Tryck TUMBA" is found on the covers of many Swedish albums. SIB Tryck was the printing company where record covers were printed during the 1970s & 1980s. TUMBA is the suburb of Stockholm in Sweden where the printing company was located.
However, there were also sleeves printed by "KIRJAPAINO E. kURONEN" in Finland. It is likely that both Finnish and Swedish pressed sleeves were used depending on the batch.
It appears as though the album shown here coupled Scandinavian/Swedish covers and Finnish pressed vinyl.
The sticker says "Polarvox FAIR PRICE good stuff for less money" in English. They used these on records in late ´70´s and early 80´s. Polarvox was the biggest recording studio and record pressing plant in Finland at the time.
Submission is missing from cover but stated on the label.
On the labels on the 'A' side the first two tracks are on one line unlike the second pressing of the Scandinavian release (green/red labels) which are on two lines and have an asterisk. |
