Public Image Limited - Sheffield City Hall, May 8th 1986
Thought you might like to share these. They were taken by myself at
the soundcheck at Sheffield City Hall in '86.
A brilliant P.I.L gig (Album tour)
followed but was subsequently cut short during the first encore of Low Life when
some mindless idiot threw a billiard ball at John.
It missed him fortunately; the
damage it could have caused does not even bear thinking about, but that incident
promptly ended the gig - and rightly so.
(I was at this show also and remember the incident well. I recall a very good performance of Tie Me To Length of That - Phil)
John seemed very interested in the '83 tour programme he was signing for me in
these pictures, in particular the photographs of young Rotten as an 8 or 9 year old
child that were inside the programme which prompted him to write "A true star"
as well as signing this and many other items that day.
