GOD
SAVE THE QUEEN
Brazil / Japan hybrid
The God Save The Sex Pistols' counterfeit/bootleg guide
Technically, these releases should be classed as counterfeit (or pirate) records, not bootlegs.
God Save The Queen / Did You No Wrong (Sleeve: Phonogram / Virgin 6079202. Label: Nippon YK-90-AX (P))
Notes. Surfaced October 2013. Matrix no: AMS 7224 A / GSTQ *5/S
This is a bizarre hybrid counterfeit.
The Brazil sleeve is a one-side printed, top opening fold out cover i.e. it is not a proper bound sleeve.
It comes with a one-side printed, top opening fold out 'half-sleeve' based on the original Japanese 7".
It has a Japan label and to top it all, it has an A&M Matrix. Someone was having fun with this one.
Pressed in black, yellow, purple, pink, and marbled aqua vinyl. Colours ltd to 100.
It plays Universal Music's re-mastered versions of the tracks.
