He never sang for the Yard..

God Save The Sex Pistols
was launched in 2000, having quickly evolved from the success of Kick Down The Doors -The Paul Cook and Steve Jones site, which I established in May 1998, after discovering how little accurate Cook and Jones information there was on the Internet.

The following year I emerged from an excellent Glen Matlock show, determined to put together a quality site for Glen. The idea quickly grew into a project covering the Pistols and their offshoots. Amazingly I soon established connections within the band itself culminating in myself singing Anarchy In The UK and Submission with the Pistols themselves during rehearsals for their 2002 Crystal Palace show (pictured above). It doesn't get any better than that!

The site continues to expand and continually strives to provide the most up-to-date news and exclusives. There are currently over 1,600 pages on the site - quite a staggering amount.

Particular thanks go out to the numerous, and ever growing, number of contributors who have provided fascinating features, pictures, and information.

Also many thanks to Steve Jones, Paul Cook, & Glen Matlock for their continual interest, co-operation and support, and for encouraging me to sing (see above)! And of course, the irreplaceable John Lydon, for the spirit, the entertainment, and for continuing to surprise and inspire.

Cheers,
Phil Singleton
