2010 Version 3 Notes.
24 tracks. The first time ever for this running order on vinyl which is
identical to the accompanying CD digipack running order. The 2010 CD is
exactly the same, in terms of musical content, as the CD re-issue of
1993. This was based on Version 1 of the original LP, but added Who
Killed Bambi, and replaced the Goodman produced Anarchy The U.K. with
the Chris Thomas produced single. The instrumental The God Save The Queen Symphony
was also replaced by the McLaren vocal mix and Watcha Gonna Do About
was moved from before Anarchy to immediately after the song in the
running order.
In order to accommodate
this order on vinyl the songs have - in some instances - moved sides,
with Watcha Gonna Do About starting side 2 followed by Who Killed
Bambi. Lonely Boy and Something Else now start side 3 rather than finish side 2, and My Way moves to the start of side 4. In many ways this is the most satisfying vinyl pressing, only let down by the inclusion of the vocal version of The God Save The Queen Symphony: to hear the instrumental version again would have been a nice touch.
As per the CD, I Wanna Be Me is not included and it is the Chris Thomas produced Anarchy that rounds off side 1.
A brand new insert (see below) is included with the new running order.
The CD digipack includes this insert as a fold out poster/sheet. The CD
also includes the stickers that appear on the LP sleeve, identical in
size.
The sleeve is a replica of the UK Version 2 gatefold sleeve and is reproduced in the both vinyl and CD editions.
The labels on sides 2 & 4 state "Sorry about incorrect track listing on sleeve - it's another Swindle!"
