To commemorate the return of PiL and 30 years of Metal Box,
God Save The Sex Pistols unearths archive press material from the Metal Box period, 1979 - 80.
Note: Material collected by myself back in the day (plus lyrics by Steve Pittis and posters by Paul Oakley).

The original Metal Box released in November 79, contained the album spread across three 12" singles, housed in a metal canister.
This was followed by a double LP, Second Edition, released in February 80 which contained the same tracks.
