Camera 3: 55 minutes

Unseen footage of the legenday Sex Pistols gig in Dallas on 10th January 1978 has been uploaded onto YouTube by HollyWood Gypsy.

Tracks filmed: Seventeen (start missing) / New York / EMI / Bodies / Belsen Was A Gas / Holidays In The Sun / No Feelings / Problems / Pretty Vacant / Anarchy In The U.K / No Fun

It is said to be from the personal collection of Noel Monk, who was assigned as tour manager by Warner Bros.

Three cameras were used to record the concert, and footage from all three has been uploaded individually. The previously existing film footage, which is available online and also on official DVD, was missing the first four songs of the concert, God Save The Queen, I Wanna Be Me, Seventeen, and New York. The first two are also absent from this newly uploaded footage, however cameras 2 and 3 capture the latter part of Seventeen along with New York in its entirety. (Interestingly, a few seconds of the New York footage is reused in The Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle during the Holidays In The Sun sequence).

Cameras 2 and 3 run for 55 minutes. Camera 1 runs for 30 minutes and starts before No Feelings. Check out John's look of disbelief towards Sid Vicious as he mistakenly announces, "this one's called Submission."

As well as the delights of seeing Seventeen and New York, there is additional never before seen footage and dialogue. Between Problems and Pretty Vacant listen to Sid dish out "...you fuckers, you faggot cowboys. Was that money that just hit me in the face? Thank you."

The different camera angles give new perspective on so much of the show. The cameras keep running right until the announcer tells everyone to have a safe trip home.

It's fascinating. The fact that it has emerged is staggering, and that it happens to be one of the most talked about gigs of all time makes it doubly so. Four days later they would play their last gig for 18 years.
