Hello John Lydon,

Your band and especially you personally has meant so much for me (I'm born 1964), so I know Sex Pistols from the start (one of my friends even ordered Never Mind The Bollocks through the mail from England because he could not wait one or two years for your album to arrive here in the north of Finland).

When I recently heard that you would be playing here in Oulu, I felt I had my big chance to see you. To be honest I was afraid of the show. Afraid of losing something important of my life history in case I would not like the show.

Now, two hours after the concert I'm happy I came to see you. You performed in a way that topped my expectations. Your singing and the band were sounding just right. I felt throughout the concert that the brave strength and love that you had in 70's was still there, maybe it is deeper down behind the shelter after a long "war" and a struggle with millions of things, but it can be seen and most importantly, the feeling is still there.

You changed the world and it has never been the same after your first hours in the media. You, John, are more important in a positive way than a couple of thousand of important bands in the world and much, much, more important than a hundred of thousand of politicians and thinkers etc. around the world. I hope you will never forget that. I will not.

A little thing at the end of the Oulu concert that you did touched me a lot. When you were banging your heart with your fist and showing that you liked Oulu's audience it meant so much to me. I took it personally, even though I was standing the whole concert in the shadows and not so close to you and to your band.
