POSTERS

'Satellite' has loads of fantastic pictures of what it describes as 'paper-goods' - newspaper clippings, ticket stubs, flyers, handouts and of course, posters..

(above left) Anarchy in the UK, Tour Poster 1976
Only three of the planned 19 concerts were ever played, due to the backlash caused after the Pistols' appearance on the 'Today' program with Bill Grundy on Wednesday 1st December 1976.

This concert was never played, cancelled by Derby Borough Council at the last hour.

(above right) Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols, Poster 1977
Jamie Reid and John Varnom. Each song has its own graphic. Promotional poster produced shortly after the release of Never Mind The Bollocks.

(above top row) Manchester Free Trade Hall  20th July 1976
Two different concert posters for the same venue. This was the Buzzcocks' first gig and the first time that the Pistols play 'Anarchy' in public.
