One of the real joys of 'Satellite' is the fascinating guided tour around the places that made up the Sex Pistols' world - all the way from from St Martin's School of Art; weaving our way through the streets of London, catching the Moulin Cinema, Sex on the Kings Road and Chelmsford Prison on the way.

'You are about to go back in time and revisit key location in the Sex Pistols story. So grab your A to Z, switch on your Walkman and let's go.."

St. Martins School of Art  107 Charing Cross Road

'The first gig the Pistols ever played in central London was on 6th November 1975 in a small room upstairs at St. Martins, one of the most prestigious art schools in England. Glen Matlock was a student here'.

The Nashville Room  171 North End Road

'Situated at the corner of Cromwell Road, literally next door to West Kensington Tube, the Nashville hosted some of the better known early Pistols gigs. These were among the first shows for which Nils Stevenson and Helen Wellington-Lloyd designed fliers. The Nashville was also the venue for sound engineer Dave Goodman's first live work with the band'.

Moulin Cinema  44 Great Windmill Street W1

'This is the cinema that Steve visits in the Swindle movie. In fact he goes here to see 'Who Killed Bambi?' which of course didn't make it to the screen in reality. The Moulin was a porn cinema. Almost all of Mary Millington's movies premiered here and the actress herself actually featured with Steve in the Swindle film'.

Sex   Kings Road, Chelsea SW10

'Situated at the far end of the Kings Road, away from Sloane Square, this is the famous Mclaren and Westwood shop, where it all began. Glen worked here, Steve and Paul hungout there, and John was auditioned here, in front of the jukebox'.

Wessex Recording Studios  106 Highbury New Park, London N5

'The Chris Thomas version of 'Anarchy in the UK' was recorded here in October 1976. The sound engineer was Bill Price and this recording became the Sex Pistols' first single released on EMI on 26th November 1976'.

There's loads and loads more fascinating places to visit in 'Satellite' - get down to your bookstore and grab yourself a copy now!
