THE FASHION

'As a crushing alternative to peace, love and Roger Dean's airbrush, Westwood and Mclaren went deeper and darker, looking to the more extreme elements of sex, death, destruction, rock'n'roll, military and civilian uniforms, political slogans and British youth cults from the 1950s and 1960s. They produced a new subversive look which captivated their customers..'
