Alan Parker - When Alan left school in 1981 he first started work in a record shop but soon found his flair for writing about music. It became his undying passion. He has worked for a number of music publications including Spiral Scratch, NME and Record Collector. Using his vast knowledge of all things Punk, Alan has progressed from press officer to successful author:

Sid's Way (Omnibus Press)
Our Stories (Castle Publishing)
Nobodies' Heroes
(Castle Publishing)
Sweet Venom - Biography of Manic Street Preachers (Plexus Publishing)

Apart from his hectic book career, Alan is also involved with a management company that looks after bands and DJs.

Paul Burgess - After leaving with an MA from the Royal College of Art in 1986, Paul has spent 13 years as a successful designer and photographer. He is an avid collector of Punk graphics and memorabilia - putting this most unusual book together has been a labour of love.

Best known in the UK as an illustrator, Paul has worked on numerous projects within music, publishing and advertising. Recent clients include Island Records, Vintage Books, MTV, Rough Trade Management and Pulp, Penguin Books, Orion, Harper Collins and Virgin.
