Alan
Parker - When Alan left school in 1981 he first started
work in a record shop but soon found his flair for writing about
music. It became his undying passion. He has worked for a number
of music publications including Spiral Scratch, NME and Record
Collector. Using his vast knowledge of all things Punk, Alan has

from his hectic book career, Alan is also involved with a management
company that looks after bands and DJs.
Paul
Burgess - After leaving with an MA from the Royal College
of Art in 1986, Paul has spent 13 years as a successful designer
and photographer. He is an avid collector of Punk graphics and
memorabilia - putting this most unusual book together has been
a labour of love.
Best known in the UK as an illustrator,
Paul has worked on numerous projects within music, publishing
and advertising. Recent clients include Island Records, Vintage
Books, MTV, Rough Trade Management and Pulp, Penguin Books, Orion,
Harper Collins and Virgin.
